The level of interest and momentum in the re-use of public sector information continues to increase.  To capture this momentum and political engagement, OPSI, working with Civil Service World is hosting a conference on 20th October 2009.  This conference, PSI in Action, will be of value to all those who have an interest in how public sector information policy is being developed and shaped. Building on the highly successful 2008 conference the focus of this year’s event will be how the PSI agenda is delivering benefits on three important fronts:

  • Economic activity and the benefits to the information industry;
  • Social benefits that flow from removing obstacles to re-use; and
  • How re-use can transform public service delivery.

This conference will provide a forum for policy makers, public content providers, re-users and industry leaders and experts to come together to discuss how public bodies can realise and unlock the potential of public sector information.
